Cave Art

To understand a group of people we need to understand their culture. So I started looking back at how we do this and how it is recorded.

I looked at cave art and how or what it is used for. Is it purely art or is it for a form of storytelling?

The earliest discovered cave art dates back 30,000 years.

This is an example of how art is used as a way to record stories, communicate ideas, religion or to teach and shows what life may have been like in these times.



Also by looking at buildings, objects, sculptures and paintings gives us a better understanding into different cultures.
